What is Music Therapy

The American Music Therapy Association states:

       "Music Therapy is the clinical and evidenced-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program."

  • Promote Physical Rehabilitation

Music therapists are trained through accredited universities across the nation and the world. Music therapists are required to complete a Bachelor's, Master's and/or Doctoral degree program and then must become licensed under the Certification Board of Music Therapists. www.cbmt.org
